How I help
1. A Whole-Baby, Whole-Body Approach
Feeding is not just about the mouth. It involves the nervous system, body tension, oral function, and how a baby feels in their body. I look at the full picture rather than focusing on symptoms alone.
2. Thorough, Individualized Assessment
Every baby and family is different. I take time to understand your feeding goals, your baby’s history, and what has already been tried. Assessments may include feeding observation, oral function, body tension patterns, and how your baby coordinates sucking, swallowing, and breathing.
3. Root-Cause Focused Care
Many feeding symptoms such as pain, reflux, clicking, fussiness, or inefficient feeds are signals of something deeper. My goal is to identify contributing factors rather than rely on trial-and-error solutions.
4. Gentle, Nervous-System-Informed Support
When appropriate, I integrate gentle bodywork and nervous system support to help babies feel more comfortable, organized, and able to use their bodies more efficiently for feeding.
5. Support for Breast, Bottle, or Combination Feeding
There is no one right way to feed a baby. I support breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and combination feeding, and tailor care to what works best for your family.
6. Guidance Before and After Tongue Tie Release
For families navigating oral ties, I provide education and support before and after release to help improve function, reduce compensation patterns, and support long-term outcomes.
7. Care That Evolves as Your Baby Grows
Feeding needs change over time. Some families need one visit, while others benefit from continued support. We adjust the plan together based on your baby’s progress and your goals.
8. A Calm, Collaborative Experience
You don’t need to have all the answers. My role is to guide, educate, and support you without pressure or judgment. We move at a pace that feels manageable for your family.
Not Sure Where to Start?
If you’re unsure which service is right for you, that’s okay. Start with a consultation and we’ll decide together what support makes the most sense for your baby.
